“You deserve a place that nourishes you, where you’re able to anchor yourself for a while and get what you need. This stability helps to sustain you on a soul level, in living a transformative life. ”

A little about me
I have always loved stories—fiction, nonfiction, and the well-woven stories shared by people of all ages and backgrounds. Stories are central to what makes us human. But any good story holds both beauty and tragedy.
As a therapist, it is my honor to sit with people in the fullness of their stories—the beauty and the heartbreak alike. Together, we explore the past with curiosity, seek understanding of how you arrived where you are, and begin to imagine a future shaped by greater freedom and wholeness. My hope is to support you in deepening your relationship with yourself, strengthening your connections with others, and moving more fully into your life and community.
I earned my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology in 2007. Before becoming a therapist, I spent 15 years working as an international photojournalist with a nonprofit organization, documenting stories of poverty, trauma, and injustice around the world.
Having spent nearly half of my childhood living abroad, cross-cultural experience has long shaped both my personal life and professional work. While I still love to travel, I’m grateful to call Seattle home, where I live with my family.
“If we deny the presence of grief, it slips behind us, and the gravity it carries pulls us away from the vitality of living. When we extend our cupped hands and offer a bottom to our grief, we can hear the story that lies there, needing our touch and affection”
